How We normally find renters is by using http://www.craigslist.com  very heavily…..

we list the properties there with a link to our rental property site whic is :

http://www.rentfromihs.com 

from there the potiental tenants can veiw properties and apply.

Usually this works very well becuase the above site gets a pretty large amount of traffic.

we also use signs and post listings at the HUD office if you take section 8. 

Typically I don’t use the local paper because of the expense but if the owner wants to place an ad that is fine.

thats pretty much the gist of how we do things when it comes to finding renters.
